Thom works with Inroads Consulting Group as a lead facilitator.  Organizations currently work with Thom to leverage their competitive edge by creating high performance teams, corporate cultures that drive accountability throughout the rank and file and by removing bottlenecks of decision making. This is accomplished by aligning senior management and business teams in support of horizontal and matrix organizations.

At an individual level Thom customizes interventions addressing core issues, delivers leadership and communication trainings that accelerate members’ skill levels, and provides high performance executive coaching to senior level and high potential managers from Fortune 500 companies.

As a consultant in 1986 Thom became the director of a management development firm that designed and conducted experiential training and intervention programs for business leaders and their organizations across a broad spectrum of industries that include health services, technology, and consumer products.  Thom continues to conduct management and leadership trainings, communication skill building seminars and team development workshops throughout all levels of organizations from senior management and line workers to cross functional and global brand teams.  In 1993 Thom founded Oceanpoint Consulting, a management and organizational development company.

Early in Thom’s career he worked as an instructor for a New Jersey based Outward Bound organization leading one to thirty day “wilderness” adventures throughout the United States. Thom received his two degrees in Education from Maryville College, TN and Trenton State College. He then went on to teach in two private schools for “behaviorally challenged” adolescents during the late 1970’s.
